
Orihuela Culture has presented a great program of events for the Circus Theatre
The Councilor for Culture in the Orihuela City Council, Mar Ezcurra, has presented the program for the last quarter of the year at the Teatro Circo de Orihuela. The mayor has highlighted that there will be musicals, comedy, dance and a circus.
Ezcurra has listed the set of scheduled events, starting with the musicals: "Colombia, my charm" on November 20, “Coco, remember me”, on December 18, “Cinderella, the Musical” on November 5, and “A Christmas Carol”, inspired by the novel by Charles Dickens, on December 10”.
In the cultural program of the Teatro Circo de Orihuela there will be plenty of space for dance with the Ballet de Kiev on December 4 performing "Swan Lake", where one euro from each ticket will be used for solidarity purposes.
The Circo Danza group with “Da Vinci's flight, on November 4, and "Somewhere over the rainbow" scheduled for November 13, and traditional Christmas concerts such as the one by the City of Orihuela Orchestra on November 25, which will be free.

Mystery of the 15 meter long fishing boat at a roundabout in Torrevieja
The City Council has gained a contract to remove the boat from a roundabout in the Doña Inés urbanization. The "Felipe y Francisca" has been located there for 20 years. It was placed around the municipal elections of 2003. At first it seemed like a good idea. But time has passed, without the maintenance that the ship owner, skipper and fishermen proudly gave the ship in its day to preserve its robust wooden hull. Official records indicate that this ship was still in service in 1994. It was anchored to the ground by several brick walls that keep it standing. Today the state of abandonment of the ship, and because of the danger that it poses for local children who use the ship as a playground and to prevent it from collapsing, the Department of Works and Services has just contracted for its removal to authorized landfill. The residents of Doña Inés will be waiting for the innovative landscape solution that the municipality will to give to the roundabout in the coming months.

Investment to complete the construction of Benidorm Cultural Center
The president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, has announced an investment of 35 million euros to complete the construction of the Benidorm Cultural Center.
The president highlighted the "great architectural quality" of the facilities already completed, where the Conservatory of Music and Dance is currently located. He reiterated the commitment of the Council to make available to the citizens of Benidorm one more room where they can offer cultural activities and congresses.
The Generalitat has already invested 12.7 million euros in the first phase of the works of the Benidorm Cultural Center, with the construction of the auditorium and the music and dance conservatory, which has 20 instrumental rooms, 3 theory rooms, 8 study rooms, an orchestra and choir room, a chamber room, 1 multi-purpose room, 4 large-format dance rooms, changing rooms, a library, teachers' rooms and an administration and management area.
